EXHIBITION OF WORKS BY KIWI JOHN - OPENS THIS WEEK!

We are VERY excited to present our latest Exhibition Underground show - Land and Sea and the Things that Play by Kiwi John! The exhibition runs from this Saturday the 24th of July until the 14th of August. The current body of work by Kiwi John (John Wortelboer) takes the viewer on a journey through iridescent worlds featuring vivid imaginary characters - sounds like fun to me. Hello!
Lots going on around the City Gallery lately, so here's a few updates...
-Shoots in the City July workshops are going along swimmingly, lots of creativity and great work happening!
-Studio shoots: today it is a whole table full of beautiful cakes... YUM!
-A number of outside exhibitions coming up, watch this space...

M.I.P Goes to Hollywood!

I have been doing a little eavesdropping around the Gallery of late and found out that two Hollywood mega stars have recently bought some of Matt's work!
A couple of weeks ago Robert De Niro indulged himself, and very recently Tim Burton also got his famous hands on some Matt Irwin cards...
It's all very exciting! Maybe I'll be famous after all...!

The Meaning Of Light - what a fun night!

Matt has told this little Owl that Thursday night at Fed Square was an absolute HOOT! He really enjoyed giving his presentation and hearing all the interesting things that the other speakers had to say.
